Family Resource Centers

The Family Resource Center is a comfortable, welcoming place where helpful staff can connect you to services and amenities during your stay at Children’s Minnesota.

Services

Here are some of the services and resources available:

  • Books for patients at book cart rounds to inpatient floors.
  • “Little free library” with magazines, novels, puzzle books and more.
  • Adult coloring and cross-stitch kits.
  • Complimentary beverages and snacks.
  • Complimentary personal hygiene kits.
  • Notary services: Staff that are licensed by the Minnesota Secretary of State to witness the signing of important documents.  
  • Help with billing concerns and financial applications. 
  • Provide food options near our Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses.  
  • Family Resource Guide (PDF) created by members of the Family Advisory Council to share important information and resources they have found helpful.
  • Family well-being handout (Español version)
  • Family medical information forms to help organize and track your child’s medical information

Technology support

  • Access to computers, phone charging stations, photocopiers and fax machines.
  • Help connecting to the Geek Squad® precinct at the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses.
