Online access to your child’s medical record

MyChildren’s is an online resource offered by Children’s Minnesota to give you secure access to:

  • View medical records, including immediate access to lab results, personal demographic information, upcoming appointments, care summaries, and track immunizations, and allergies.
  • Request or schedule an appointment with your child’s care provider. You can also request to reschedule or cancel an appointment.
  • Communicate with your child’s health care team any time. Message them to ask questions and confirm medications. (A care team member will respond to your message within two business days.)

MyChildren’s mobile app

Download the MyChildren’s MN mobile app to easily access and manage your child’s health care information. The app is HIPAA compliant and you can securely view your Children’s Minnesota medical data. The MyChildren’s MN app can be downloaded on Apple and Google Play stores. At this time, you cannot enroll in the MyChildren’s portal through the MyChildren’s MN mobile app.

Please note: This year we launched an improved platform for virtual visits at most clinics. A portal account is needed to use the virtual care platform. All clinics use the platform except the following: primary care clinics in Brooklyn Park, Hugo, Maple Grove, Plymouth, Rogers, St. Louis Park, and West St. Paul.

This patient portal has been optimized for mobile and does not require app download for mobile usage.

Using the portal in Spanish
To use the portal in Spanish, log in above. Once in the portal, go to the Settings area found under your username. Choose “Espanol – Estados Unidos” under “Change Language.” To view these instructions in Spanish, go here.

To enroll in MyChildren’s, ask the patient registration staff on an inpatient unit, or at your clinic visit. You can also enroll by calling Children’s Minnesota Health Information Management at 612-813-6216. Patients under 18 must have their parent/legal guardian request a MyChildren’s account.
