Trevor Sawallish, senior vice president of clinical operations and COO, talked about trends and opportunities in ambulatory surgery centers. He spoke on Children’s Minnesota’s recent accreditation as a Level I surgery center by the American College of Surgeons and what that means for the organization. Children’s Minnesota plans to continue to support physicians while making its pediatric-focused ACS the easiest and best choice for referring physicians and the families they care for. The organization will also continue to develop value-based strategies to provide high-quality, lower-cost services, that are dedicated to caring for kids.
