Star Gala Youth Ambassadors are high school to college aged youth dedicated to raising funds and awareness for Children’s Minnesota and the 2024 focus of the Neurosciences Program.

Star Gala is one of the biggest nights of the year for the philanthropic community in the Twin Cities. The gala brings together some of most charitable donors, business leaders, corporations, professionals in the medical community and families to raise money for life-changing programs at Children’s Minnesota.

Star Gala 2024 is benefiting the Children’s Minnesota Neurosciences Program. Children’s Minnesota’s pediatric neurosciences program offers a continuum of care that is among the best in the nation. From evaluation and diagnosis to surgery, follow-up care and rehabilitation, patients from pre-birth to age 21 receive expert care in one convenient location. Specializing in treating concussions, brain tumors, epilepsy, spina bifida, and traumatic injuries as well as being the destination for many rare disorders and fetal surgeries.

Benefits of being a member of Children’s Star Gala youth ambassador program include:

  • Opportunity to meet a service learning requirement – partner with Children’s Minnesota to track your hours of service
  • Receive a letter of recommendation from Children’s Minnesota
  • Opportunity to volunteer and attend the program at Star Gala if $1,000 or more is raised by March 22, 2024. Top 10 fundraisers have a chance to enjoy dinner and program as a seated guest at Star Gala

Star Gala youth ambassadors must meet the following requirements:

  • Be currently enrolled as a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior in high school or college
