New Screening to Vascular Access Nurse Order

A new Screening to Vascular Access Nurse order is available for the bedside nurse to contact the Vascular Access team. This new screening order will be sent to the Vascular Access Team in Message Center and can be used to convey patient care needs such as starting an IV or changing a PICC dressing.

In the event you receive an error message that Allergies data is not retrievable, allergy information can be found by clicking the Allergies link on the patient Banner Bar or by accessing Allergies from the Table of Contents.

Ambulatory Referral Management (ARM) Update

It was recently decided not to implement the Referral Management technology and the go-live scheduled for April 30th was cancelled. 
Referral Management (ARM) was meant to be the first phase of a three phased technology implementation intended to make it easy for providers to refer to Children’s Minnesota and improve the speed of processing those referrals. Phases two and three were stopped due to the Epic transition. Without these subsequent phases, it was determined that ARM will not meet our stated goals.
