There are two new powerplans designed for enhanced patient care:
- GT/GJ Post Op and Maintenance
- Applicable for Pediatrics, CVICU, and PICU
- NICU GT/GJ Post Op and Maintenance
- Applicable for Neonatal
These powerplans streamline the process of post-operative care, feeding, and maintenance for patients with newly placed Gastrostomy or Jejunostomy tubes.
To locate these powerplans, search for gt when placing an order. Synonyms for Pediatrics, CVICU, and PICU in the GT/GJ Post Op and Maintenance PowerPlan are included to make your search easier.
These powerplans are structured in phases:
- Post Op Phase: Initiated by the ordering clinician.
- Feeding and Maintenance Phases: Planned in advance and initiated by nursing staff when the patient is ready.
This phased approach ensures coordinated and efficient care for our patients.
