A new Screening to Vascular Access Nurse order is available for the bedside nurse to contact the Vascular Access team. This new screening order will be sent to the Vascular Access Team in Message Center and can be used to convey patient care needs such as starting an IV or changing a PICC Line dressing. This order is an additional way to contact the Vascular Access team.
Note: The Reason for Consult field is required.
This new screening order can be saved to your Favorites.
Vascular Access RNs:
The Screening to Vascular Access Nurse order will display on the Consult Orders list in Message Center. It will include the reason for screening and the location of the patient.
The Subject column indicates the type of order:
