A new Midline Dynamic Grouper is available within the Critical Care Lines-Devices navigator band. This new Dynamic Grouper is automatically available in the Critical Care Lines-Devices band. For all other care communities, this dynamic grouper will need to be customized into view. Click here for instructions on how to customize your view.
The Midline Dynamic Grouper functions similar to other Intravenous Line Dynamic Groupers and contains the appropriate fields for documentation.
To assist with tracking line days, dressing, and cap changes, the Midline displays on the Clinical Summary Lines & Trach component. Complete and accurate charting of Midline information in IView will ensure accurate information displays in the Indwelling Lines & Trach component.
Note: The Lines/Procedures PowerForm also contains the option of Midline.
