Because of the generosity of our compassionate community, we raised a record‑breaking $3.7 million to support children’s mental health services at Children’s Minnesota—an extraordinary milestone that will make a real difference for the kids and families we serve.

The Children’s Minnesota Star Gala is one of the biggest nights of the year for the philanthropic community in the Twin Cities. Generous donors come together to raise millions of dollars for Children’s Minnesota, allowing us to transform health care for kids for more than 100 years.

Star Gala 2026 is benefiting the Mental Health program at Children’s Minnesota

Children’s Minnesota is devoted to the mental health needs of children. Families have access to the expertise and compassion of pediatric psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, child life therapists, music and art therapists and many other mental health specialists.

At Children’s Minnesota, we provide a continuum of mental health care to kids across primary care, outpatient services, emergency departments, and in our patient pediatric mental health unit. Families have access to the expertise and compassion of pediatric psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, child life specialists, music and art therapies, and many other mental health specialists.

Donor support for the Children’s Minnesota Mental Health program is absolutely vital. Insurance reimbursement rates for pediatric mental health care are shockingly low, and essential programs like child life, music therapy, yoga and so much more are only possible with the support from our community of donors. The funds we raise at Star Gala 2026 will continue to allow Children’s Minnesota to offer such critical programming and support families when they need us most.
